Importing Existing Media

I already have my media (audio/video) created. How do I get it into Camtasia to convert or create a video with it?

*If you are starting from scratch and don't have any existing media , please click "Ready to Record" on the left.

1. Open Camtasia
2. Click on "File" (Top left)
3. Click on "Import Media"

Below are the file types you can import:




4. Once you have imported your files. Drag them down to the timeline

You may then click on "Produce Video As" to convert your video or create your production.
